“Dēng, déng, dēng dĕng…. dĕng dēng dèng déng, děng déng dēng..Toot…” The bell rang for recess finally after another 2 periods of history. “Yao bu yao xia qu recess?” Chin Hong asked Wei Xun. “dun know lah..maybii will eat cup noodles …still have to do maths” “Maths..oh yeah! Exercise 5b…”replied Chin Hong flying back to his bag.”Which book?” “Maths 1”
The classrooms began getting crowded as people from other sec 2 classes came in to buy tibits. In case u don’t know, the boys have started a “boys fund” to earn money by selling tibits. Of course, the money for buying tibits is from the boys own pocket money. Mani of the ‘busniess’ come from other class and even own classmates and the boys. Recess is sometimes cup noodles to avoid going down to the always crowded canteen to buy food.
After eating, it would be a time of soccer for the boys as the front (or back) of the classroom is the soccer pitch, if theres no homeowrk needed to be done. Conflicts between the boys and the girls sometimes (but seldom) occur when the ball hit one of the girls accidentally. (If the ball hit matthew..thens its more likely on purpose). 1 of the soccer balls have nbeen confiscated by Miss.Tay, however, the boys managed to find a new one.
